Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Generate potential leads and mop up orders with the existing customers.
- Conduct sales and achieve weekly, monthly and yearly targets assigned.
- Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales.
- Prepare market visit reports and timely submit it to the Area Sales Manager.
- Generate leads and divert them to the reporting heads.
- Updating the policy of the company to distributors.
- Develop and maintain a cordial relationship with the customer or distributor.
- Liaise efficiently with the Accounts and Logistics for payment receipts, accounts receivables, supply of products etc to oversee a smooth delivery to the customers.
- Liaise with customers to trace the payments made, collect the supportive documents and submit to Accounts.
- Attends to customer queries, problems and reports immediately the same to the Area Sales Manager.
- Increase the depth and width of distribution by increasing the number of retail and wholesale outlets and distributors.
- Focus of modern retail and institutions along with general trade.
- Conducting Retail census.
- Timely settlement of KD claim.
- Effective utilisation of POP material.
- Departmental Relations: Maintains contact with other Departments, like Accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Marketing or Business Administration on the related field are a must.
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience, including a demonstrated track record of field sales, in the FMCG sector, preferably from the Soap & Detergent industry.
- Demonstrate competencies in business development, negotiation, sales or marketing experience.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills.
- MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other necessary computer tools proficiency is a must.
- Must possess excellent salesman skills.
